Owner + Licensee Holder - Leah
With a deep passion for animals and a heartfelt commitment to honouring her mum’s legacy, Leah took over the cattery in 2020, continuing the work her mother, Linda, began back in 2002. Growing up immersed in the day-to-day life of the cattery, Leah learned the ropes from an early age and brings decades of hands-on experience to her role today.
Driven by the same dedication to outstanding care that Linda was known for—and her own vision to bring fresh modernisation to the business—Leah ensures every guest receives the highest standard of comfort, safety, and love.
With four furry friends of her own at home, she understands just how important trust and compassion are when caring for someone’s beloved pet. Her mission is simple: to give each cat a home-from-home experience, just as her mum did for so many years.

Cattery Assistant - Joanne
Jo joined the team in March 2025 and quickly became an invaluable part of the cattery. A long-time family friend, she supports Leah and steps in whenever needed, ensuring the same high standard of care continues seamlessly. You will often bump into Jo on a Wednesday.
Naturally kind and caring, Jo brings warmth to every cat (and human!) she interacts with. Her love for animals is matched by her dedication to learning — she is currently completing her Level 3 Diploma in Feline Care, Behaviour & Welfare further enhancing the expert care we provide.
At home, Jo is kept busy by her two dogs and her cat, Wurzel, all of whom reflect her gentle, nurturing spirit.
Friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to lend a hand, Jo helps create the calm, welcoming environment our cattery is known for.

Founder - In Memory of Linda
Linda opened the cattery in 2002, fulfilling a lifelong dream that was possible when she moved to the farm a year earlier. Surrounded by cows, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs, Lin truly lived her dream of being around the animals she adored. Her love for animals was boundless, but she held a particularly special bond with cats throughout her life — a bond that inspired her to build her own cattery.
For 18 wonderful years, Lin ran the cattery with warmth, dedication, and exceptional knowledge. She became known for her gentle, caring nature and for treating every cat as though they were her own. Many returning guests — and the families who trusted her — felt the comfort of her kindness, her experience, and her genuine love for the animals in her care.
In 2020, due to ill health, Lin passed the torch to her daughter Leah, ensuring her legacy of outstanding care continued. Sadly, Linda passed away in August 2025, but her spirit lives on in every part of the cattery she built — in its values, its standards, and the love shown to each and every guest.
Her dream, her passion, and her heart remain at the centre of everything we do.
Forever loved, always remembered.
